This unit has two mirrors made of beam-splitter glass that are set at a 45-degree angle on two separate stands. Each has a screen with the text under it. It shows up in the mirror.
With this set up, only the speaker can see the text. The people in the room can’t see the words because the back of the panel has a coating that keeps light from reflecting. The audience can see right through what looks like a sheet of clear glass to them.
This gives the appearance that the speaker is reciting from memory and captivates the listener. Uninterrupted. Direct contact seems easy.
